概览

驾驶机动车需要驾驶执照。

申请驾驶执照

Class 9

Motor Driven Cycle Licence，授权持有人驾驶 motor-driven cycle 和 farm tractor。

个人可在 14 岁、并取得家长同意后申请 Class 9 驾照。

Class 8

Farm Tractor Licence，只授权持有人驾驶 farm tractor。

个人可在 14 岁、并取得家长同意后申请 Class 8 驾照。

Class 7

• Level 1 - Learners Licence：授权正在接受机动车操作指导的人驾驶机动车。
• Level 2：授权持有人驾驶 Class 5 所描述的车辆，但不包括 Class 9 motor driven cycles。

个人可在 16 岁、并取得家长同意后申请 Class 7 驾照，即 Graduated Licence Program。

Class 6

授权持有人驾驶摩托车，或 Class 9 所描述的任何车辆。

个人可在 16 岁、并取得家长同意后申请 Class 6 驾照。在申请 motorcycle licence 前，必须完成强制摩托车培训课程。

Class 5

授权持有人驾驶任何机动车，包括：

• Class 9 中的任何车辆
• 任何两轴机动车，但不包括 ambulance、taxicab 或 bus
• 任何三轴机动车，但不包括 truck；该车辆类型是为公路建设、维护和维修而设计的，无论该车辆是否实际用于这些用途
• 在本文所述机动车或 motor home 后方牵引一辆注册 gross vehicle mass 不超过 4,500 kg 的被牵引车辆，但该被牵引车辆不得配备 air brakes

个人在 Level 1 和 Level 2 合计完成至少 24 个月，且 Level 2 至少 12 个月后，可以申请 Class 5 驾照。

Class 4

授权持有人驾驶：

• Class 5 中的任何车辆
• 提供 vehicle-for-hire service 时驾驶任何 private passenger vehicle
• ambulance
• taxicab
• 载客量少于 25 人的 bus

申请 Class 4 必须至少 18 岁、已完成 Graduated Licence Program，并完成体检。

Class 3

授权持有人驾驶：

• Class 5 licence 持有人可驾驶的机动车；两轴机动车牵引一辆注册 gross vehicle mass 超过 4,500 kg、但未配备 air brakes 的被牵引车辆
• 三轴或更多轴机动车
• 三轴或更多轴机动车牵引未配备 air brakes 的被牵引车辆

申请 Class 3 驾照必须至少 18 岁、已完成 Graduated Licence Program，并完成体检。

Class 2

授权持有人驾驶任何：

• Class 3、4 或 5 licence 持有人可驾驶的机动车
• 载客量超过 24 人的 bus

申请 Class 2 必须至少 18 岁、已完成 Graduated Licence Program，并完成体检。

Class 1

授权持有人驾驶：

• Class 2、3、4 或 5 licence 持有人可驾驶的机动车
• truck tractor
• truck tractor towing a semi-trailer
• truck tractor towing a semi-trailer and a trailer
• 任何牵引配备 air brakes 拖车的 truck
• 牵引配备 air brakes 拖车的 truck tractor

申请 Class 1 必须至少 18 岁、已完成 Graduated Licence Program，并完成体检。

Class 1 申请人还必须完成 Mandatory Entry-Level Training，MELT。

Class 3/4

Licence 授权持有人驾驶 Class 3 或 Class 4 licence 持有人可驾驶的机动车。

申请 Class 3/4 必须至少 18 岁、已完成 Graduated Licence Program，并完成体检。

其他驾照信息

除 class 外，driver's licence 还可以用字母 endorsement 扩展持有人可驾驶的车辆类型。Endorsement 包括：

• A：适用于所有 motorcycles
• B：适用于 school bus
• D：适用于发动机排量超过 50 cc、但不超过 550 cc 的 motorcycle
• E：适用于配备 air brakes 的车辆
• H：Graduated motorcycle licence up to 550 cc
• I：Graduated motorcycle licence all motorcycles

所有新持证驾驶人都必须参加 Graduated Licence Program。

申请 school bus endorsement 必须至少 21 岁，并具有一年驾驶经验。

申请新 licence 或升级当前 licence 时，需要考试。与其他司法辖区换证时有部分例外，请查看 Driver's Licences for new residents。

考试结果有效期为六个月。任何 licence 签发或升级都必须在开始流程后六个月内完成。

Driver's Licence 和 Identification Cards 的实体印制在场外设施完成，该设施使用高级安全特征。申请 licence 时，你会收到 30 天 temporary document，正式卡片会在大约 14 天内安全邮寄到达。

照片是所有 New Brunswick driver's licences 的强制特征。申请新 driver's licence 时，请前往 Service New Brunswick Centre。需要拍摄新照片。

续期驾驶执照可以：

申请时所需文件

申请 driver's licence 或 identification card 时，例如新申请、换证、过期超过两年等，申请人必须提交：

• 至少一份 acceptable identification documents list 中的文件
• 至少两份 acceptable proof of New Brunswick residency documents list 中的文件
• 如适用，提交姓名变更证明，例如结婚证、离婚文件或 Certificate of Name Change

更改驾驶执照地址

更改驾驶执照地址可以：
