The Department of Justice and Public Safety is seeking Justice Services Representatives within the Justice Support Services Branch.
What you will do
As a member of the Justice Support Services branch, the successful candidate will be responsible to triage all calls, emails and other forms of communication, deliver high level client service and provide administrative support to the Justice Services team. This will include:
- Respond effectively to requests for information and inquiries from internal and external
- Stakeholders
- Offer consistent and accurate information to clients
- Access and update a variety of case management systems
- Process payments
- Perform general office duties as required

You possess strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and remain calm under pressure. You communicate clearly and effectively, including with individuals who may be upset or experiencing difficult circumstances, using empathy, sound judgment, and professionalism to de-escalate situations and explain information in a clear and respectful manner. You demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and consistently uphold high standards of service in every interaction.
Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:
Need to have:
- Successful completion of one (1) year post-secondary education in a related field;
- Minimum of three (3) years related work experience;
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo a criminal history clearance and security clearance check.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

Wage
$1,872.00 to $2,218.00 biweekly based on education and experience
Work environment
- Office location: Marysville Place, 20 McGloin Street, Fredericton, NB
- Office layout: open concept, cubicles
- Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:15-4:30 and/or 8:45-5:00
