We are looking for a dynamic and relationship-focused Organizational Development Consultant to help shape an exceptional employee experience across the department. What you will do:

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will lead and support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, enhance organizational culture, and contribute to a positive and high-performing workplace.

Working closely with leaders and employees throughout the department, you will design, coordinate, and implement programs and services that support employee development, wellbeing, and organizational effectiveness.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Championing the Employee Experience Survey and related action planning initiatives
  • Collaborating with managers and employees to gather feedback, analyze results, and identify opportunities to improve workplace culture and engagement
  • Developing and implementing initiatives that support an inclusive, connected, and high-performing workplace
  • Leading initiatives that foster employee connection and recognition

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Coordinating and delivering engaging onboarding experiences for new employees
  • Partnering with managers to ensure successful integration of new team members
  • Supporting employee transition processes, including offboarding and exit feedback initiatives

Learning & Development

  • Facilitating learning opportunities and delivering training related to departmental policies, diversity, equity and inclusion, and employee development
  • Supporting the continuous growth and development of employees across the organization

You are known for your initiative, professionalism, and ability to engage people at all levels of an organization. You are organized, adaptable, and committed to creating positive employee experiences.

Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:

Required Competencies:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in Business Administration, Education, Social Science or a related field with a minimum of four (4) years of related work experience
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize deliverables
  • Strong written and presentation skills for effective communication across all levels of the department
  • Valid class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

Wage:

Pay Band 4: $2,271.00 to $3,176.00 bi-weekly

 

Work environment:

  • Office location: Marysville Place, 20 McGloin Street, Fredericton
  • Open office layout
  • Standard hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:15AM to 4:30PM 
  • Periodic travel throughout the province to Provincial Parks, Museums and Attractions will be required
  • No seafood or shellfish allowed in the office
